You may publish a variety of different types of content. In general, we just call these posts. The different types of posts are:
- Article
- Q&A
- Note
- Job
- Scratch Pad (private)
It’s important to ensure that you publish your content using the correct post type to keep our community very organized and clean. You may learn about each post type by going to that post type’s section here within our documentation.
Each post type’s documentation page will confirm things like, what you are allowed to post, and various other logic about the post type and why it exists.
If you don’t follow the rules for that particular post type then your post might be deleted.
Anonymous Mode #
When you post you may turn on anonymous mode before you publish and your name and avatar will be hidden. You may also comment anonymously if you’d like. You’ll see a select box that you can change to “on” and that will activate this mode. You can always edit and turn this off to show your name and avatar.
Stay kind and balanced when in anonymous mode. We offer it to create genuine discussion; just don’t get too crazy.
